A newspaper article from the Tooele Transcript contained a letter from Utah Governor George D. Clyde wishing her a happy birthday. Mrs. Erickson turned 100 years old on November 11, 1959, and was the last surviving pioneer to have come across the plains by handcart or wagon. There is also an article written about her. | |
