Description
|
March, 1982, was a special month for women of the LDS Church. In Salt Lake City, the General Church Primary, Young Women, and Relief Society organizations joined their efforts to produce "A Tribute to Women: The Legacy Remembered and Renewed". It was a month-long event meant to spotlight the many dimensions of Latter-day Saint women. It was meant to be repeated in wards and stakes throughout the church. The following presentation was done in September, 1982, honoring Charlotte Gailey Clark. President Kimball felt that "women who have a deep appreciation for the past will be concerned about shaping a righteous future". Legacy Week was held in Grantsville September 16-19, 1982. | |
