Note the grooves, worn by polishing and strengthening bows, arrow shafts, etc. These were found where pot hunters and explorers have taken everything else. When the grooves are down, the artifact might be passed over as being nothing but a rock. Note the different-sized grooves suitable for taking care of different-sized shafts. There are nine of these stones. | |
